Google Chromebook Grant- The Results are in
Dear Teachers:
The Google grant opportunity for Partnership high school teachers to win a cart of Google Chromebooks closed on January 31st. Among the many applicants, every Partnership high school was represented and the proposals were all strong with some very unique vision for working in the cloud and utilizing Google applications. A committee reviewed all of the proposals and carefully discussed each one before making its final decision.
We are very happy to announce the winner…or in this case, winners, Carlos Martinez, Leigh Anne Orr, and Mickey Thibeault. This team from Mendez Math & Science submitted a thoughtful and innovative proposal for use of the devices and Google applications that will be shared by all three teachers. Congratulations Carlos, Leigh Ann and Mickey!
We are all very thankful to Google for creating this opportunity for Partnership high school teachers. This is a pilot project and we hope that our continued relationship with Google will offer us many more opportunities like this to share with our teachers at every grade level.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a proposal.
